- ➤ Alden Pinkston, a freshman cybersecurity major at Ivy Tech Valpo, helped his team win first place in the statewide IT Challenge on Friday, Nov. 7 in Indianapolis and earned national honors at a summer competition while taking on campus leadership roles.
