  • Powering Indiana brings together IBEW, NECA and local family businesses for its Earn While You Learn apprenticeship program (offering no student loans) that provides specialized training, employer-paid benefits (including health and dental) and community service projects with recruitment expanding through Lake County JATC.  NWI.LIFE
  • Mark Pryor, a local veteran who served from 1994 to 1997, now lives in Valparaiso & raises his two boys with his wife while working as a Senior Technical Program Manager at Solventum. He credits his military service with shaping his leadership and deep community pride.  Valpo Life

  • Patti Shaffner and Bobcat Opossum will perform a concert on March 13 from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. at 505 E Lincolnway in Valpo with tickets costing $20.  PanoramaNOW
  • Local entrepreneur Kat Lutze, founder of Alley Kat’s Curiosity Shoppe supporting local artists + small businesses, discussed her journey with host Jenny Craig-Brown on the All About the Girls show. The interview aired March 3.  Valpo Life

  • Valparaiso residents using NIPSCO raised concerns over high energy bills today and are calling for lower rates to ease financial pressure. One customer said they would like to see rates return to normal to help manage tight budgets.  NWI Times
