- ➤ Stripes, a 20 year old Bengal tiger at the Washington Park Zoo, was euthanized after his health rapidly declined from kidney disease and arthritis—tests showed he also suffered from kidney failure, lymphedema, and cancer. Valpo Life

- ➤ The City of Valparaiso invites youth to join the Mayor’s Youth Council for the 2025-26 school year—students entering their junior year are asked to apply by May 30.
