  • NIPSCO and United Steelworkers met Tuesday at the bargaining table to try to end the lockout and break the impasse; talks remain ongoing as both sides work toward a resolution.  NWI Times

  • Bishop Noll Institute celebrated community and faith after Easter Break with a clothing donation challenge and a Mass on March 22 at Saint John. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • On April 9, the SBA declared a disaster for Indiana counties hit by March storms, allowing residents to apply for disaster loans. Disaster Loan Outreach Centers in Newton and Wheatfield are open from April 11 to April 25, with a physical loan deadline on June 8.  XROCK 103.9

HEALTH NEWS

  • Franciscan Health launches a free speaker series at Franciscan Senior Health and Wellness in Dyer to support caregivers of aging loved ones.
