- ➤ Center for Hospice Care will offer two free Camp Evergreen sessions to help grieving youth heal outdoors. Youth ages 10–17 join a day camp at Camp Alexander Mack on Saturday, May 30, while children ages 6–12 and guardians attend a family workshop at the Mishawaka campus on Saturday, October 3. Valpo Life
- ➤ Legacy Foundation will announce $5 million in new grant funding to boost community spaces and support local nonprofits — $4 million is set for public projects while $1 million will expand Transform Lake County efforts. 2026 Valparaiso University Jazz Fest
The Valparaiso University Department of Music presents the 2026 Valparaiso University Jazz Festival, with four days of events that take place Wednesday, April 22, to Saturday, April 25, in the University Theatre, located in the Center For The Arts, 1709 Chapel Drive. Each day will include workshop presentations by professional jazz artists, performances by area high school jazz ensembles, and nightly featured concerts.
