- ➤ On April 17, the City of Valparaiso hosted its first Community Conference at Valparaiso University to bring together residents, business professionals, and government leaders — the event featured networking, a keynote by Mayor Jon Costas, and four educational breakout sessions focused on philanthropy, government operations, neighborhood support, and advocacy.
