- ➤ Valpo Athletics honored 115 student-athletes with Presidential Academic Honors at the ARC Awards banquet (held on Sunday). Sean Toolis and Kailyn Benoit earned the Laurel Award as they achieved perfect 4.0 GPAs over two consecutive semesters. Valpo Life

- ➤ Indiana University Northwest RedHawk Athletics will host its third annual RedHawk Golf Classic on Monday, Jun. 1 at Innsbrook Country Club. Registration ends May 26 with discounted rates for IUN faculty & staff and alumni, and the event kicks off with breakfast at 8 a.m., a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start, and a 2 p.m. lunch to support athletic scholarships. Annual Memorial Day Service May 25 at 11 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery
Graceland Cemetery will host its annual Memorial Day Service on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Valor Hill, honoring all who have served with a special tribute to veterans laid to rest at Graceland over the past year. Conducted by American Legion Post 94, the free public ceremony will include the reading of each veteran’s name and will move indoors to the mausoleum in the event of rain.
