- ➤ Two Purdue University Northwest student veterans, Alyssa Gomezdelacasa and Angelica Ortiz, were named 2025 Focus Forward Fellows by Purdue West Lafayette’s Military Family Research Institute—this program will offer a four-day summer residency and professional mentoring starting in July—to help them transition to civilian careers.
