The fair will kick off with a record-setting concert by country pop artists Russell Dickerson and Niko Moon at the Grandstand—organizers plan to add attractions like a beer garden, mud drag racing and 4-H events to create a fun experience for all ages. - ➤ South Shore Line officials said crews repair the CSX freight bridge and are installing voltage isolation equipment along the nine mile track — bridge work at the Munster-Dyer Main Street Station is set to complete by early October and further work will finish by mid November as the line is targeted to open end of year.
