  • Sunset Hill Park will host the Winter Lights Drive Thru starting November 24—cars can view dazzling light displays from 6—9 p.m. nightly until January 3—featuring custom scenes like a 20-foot roller coaster and Santa taking off with his reindeer while donations are accepted. ECONOMY NEWS

  • The Valparaiso Economic Development Corporation held a breakfast meeting at Avalon Manor—Chairman Dale Clapp updated community investors on past successes like the ChicaGo DASH buses and shared plans for future projects including affordable housing and a sports campus.   • The Health 2 Home program supports first-time mothers in Porter County at or below 212% of the poverty level by enrolling them before their 29th week of pregnancy to offer continuous medical care and social-emotional guidance until their child turns 2.
