- ➤ NIPSCO celebrated its 13th annual Hope for the Holidays campaign on Monday, Dec. 22 by donating $239,425 to 23 local organizations and providing 800+ new toys to 7 Toys for Tots chapters to support families in need this holiday season. Valpo Life
- ➤ Sunset Hill Farm County Park’s annual Winter Lights Drive Thru has been running since Nov. 22 and will illuminate the park until Jan. 1 — it also features a Marine Corps League Toys for Tots donation event at the entrance. PanoramaNOW

- ➤ In Valparaiso, the Northwest Indiana District 1 Firefighter Training Council partnered with the MAAC Foundation to host a career academy graduation for 11 firefighters from five local departments on Dec. 19.
