- ➤ Nine Purdue University Northwest faculty members received approval for promotions on April 4 that will take effect on Aug. 18 during the 2025-26 academic year. - ➤ On April 3, Purdue University Northwest hosted its fourth Alumni Hall of Fame celebration to honor five distinguished alumni for their work in health, education, and community service. - ➤ INDOT told drivers that overnight lane closures on I-94 between U.S. 421 and U.S. 20/35 in La Porte County began on March 31 and will run until about April 16 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., while phase one work starts—shifting two lanes left and including concrete patching and a bridge deck overlay that will slow traffic until mid-December.
