The Lake Ridge School Board selected a firm for its superintendent search—sharing five key facts about the decision Monday night.

The board will work with the firm to guide the search for a new superintendent.

Indiana Dunes State Park turned 100 years old after its founding in 1925 and will hold a centennial celebration on Sept.

20 to mark its storied past and status as the most visited state park with nearly 2 million visitors last year. The park spans 2,182 acres along Lake Michigan and is known for its diverse landscapes—offering beaches, trails, and abundant wildlife.
